You know that social media can bring new clients from all over the web, but how do you get in the mix? How do you turn a Facebook post into a real marketing tool? What should you do to guarantee you book weddings at the show? Our favorite strategy is using an on-site promotion. Here are the steps to host your own.

If you are participating in wedding/bridal shows, large or small, here are some tips to get a bigger return on your investment: 

•   Upfront planning and preparation.  Have a game plan for the show.  Know your goals, set-up, offers and who is doing what.
  
  
•   Be prepared to do business.  Don’t come to a show just to get exposure and leads, look for a way to write business – so have contracts and forms available.
  
  
•   Pre-show marketing.  Let people know you will be at the show – post it to social, send out emails to your database & let them know if you have any show specials you will be offering.

4 Tips to attract couples to your booth. (Not just brides or grooms.)

The Wedding Show culture is changing; we can’t miss out on quality prospects by relying on our aged opinions of the types of consumers that will attend an event. Wedding Shows are evolving for 21^st century couples– particularly, Millennials. Millennials are team-oriented individuals focused on equal involvement in wedding planning. An event that used to be run by frantic brides is now developing into an occasion for everyone. With that being said, you can no longer develop your booth to attract only a slice of your target market, you need to appeal to the whole pie– both brides and grooms, to be exact. Here are four tips to attract those valuable couples at a Wedding Show:
